So For you all that didn't know pday has been switched to monday! haha don't know if i like it or not saturday feels more like a prep day to me then monday but thats just me.. haha anyways so this week was fairly good. we set a baptismal date with a new investigator. well techincally he isn't new he has just been dropped or lost contact with twice and now we are teaching him again and he seems committed so we set one the first day which was really awesome. haha my first zone conference is tomorrow which is excitting yet some how i ended up agree to lead the music... not sure how that worked but i'm going with it! haha fall is the season of service. we spent a whole day helpping a family. split and stack wood. it was suppose to be they used a machine to split it then we stacked it... but the thing ran out of gas and they couldn't get more at them moment so we traded off spilting it and stacking it so i'm pretty legit with a spliter and a wedge now i must say :) and an cool fact so a few weeks ago we did a training thing and president Hess asked us to look at the branch mission plans and go over them so we did that and ours... well the one the branch had didn't have any specifics so we got to work and wrote up this legit one it was awesome and no i'm not bragging its the truth. there was a district rep in the branch presidency meeting and he took a copy back to the district council and i guess they are now discussing how they can implement it in the rest of the branch in the district. so they were impressed as week. then we presented it to the branch council and we expected there to be doubts or something but there wasn't any at the time they are going to read it over and let us know. but the Branch president after was like " it was like giving them to pages of the Book of Mormon. they can't find any faults." so that was pretty legit. haha otherwise there hasn't been to much going on we've been teaching about twenty lessons a week but no super cool stories sorry! oh and we have been working at the salvation army once a week as part of service and thats fun. Bob the manager/ truck driver is a really funny guy. the only thing i don't like right now is the freaking rain.... haha anyways my thought this week comes from 1 nephi 3:7 its talks about how the lord gives no commandments unless he first prepares a way. which is so so true. if we ever recieve a commandment from the prophets or something in the scriptures. and it seems impossible don't doubt. take a step back and look at it from a different way. the Lord wouldn't have asked if you couldn't do it. it took three tries for them to get the plates from Laban. sometimes the Lord doesn't let you succeed on the first attempt because you won't get as much out of it with only one try. or your not relying on him enough or having faith that its possible. the Lord sees potential in each and everyone of us and knows what we need to do to achieve it. always trust in the Lord he ALWAYS provides a way. love you all and miss you thanks for all the support i receive. see you in 21 months about!
