Week 7 - Friday September 2, 2011

well week wasn't super eventful but still interesting. i had to be in charge of the area again because of trade offs so  it was me and Elder Blackhurst in Cadillac while Elder rawlins and pack went to bear lake.  we were waiting for a  phone call from our private number. i forgot to mention last week we got a phone call from a private number but we didn't have service so they left a message. the mans name was john and he found our card on the side of the road and wanted to know more he had even checked out mormon.org! but we couldn't call him back because its a private number! then the next day calls again.... no service leaves another message . he wants to be baptized so we were freaking out.  then finally he called again sunday right after church and i answer it and we talk for a min but he says now isn't a good time can he call us wednesday at noon. wouldn't give me his number. so nothing doesn't call so that was pretty sad. then thursday we went and saw bro elliot and got a bit more of the puzzle we learn more and more every time. then we went and worked at the shepards table its a soup kitchen run by the first baptist church they were real nice. then we went with our branch mission leader Bro Kellog  and saw raymond which went real well we gave him a priesthood blessing and he gave us all of his tobacco and pipes and is going to try and quit smoking again. it was so so legit.

i've decided that lately my favorite letters coming are from Grandpa moore i'm sorry for favorites people haha but he is just so full of humor and random i love it. but i love any other mail i get and i apologize i 'm way way way behind on answering letters but i'm catching up. sorry not super eventful. oh

fishing went good we caught a blue gill that was big enough to eat and a big bass. i caught two other blue gills but they were very very little. but its dumb i couldn't get a resident fishing license for a year because i don't have a michigan license yet Elder Rawlins manage to get one months ago so stupid but the day pass was good too
